Weather Alert Pro

Weather Alert Pro is a site I run for active U.S. weather alerts. Alerts come from National Weather Service feeds. National lists alerts across the country. My alerts lists warnings for saved locations. Situation summarizes the current risk. Archive keeps alerts that have ended.

The header shows a storm risk score, the last sync time, and how many alerts are in view. On National, filters cover severity and hazard, including tornado, thunderstorm, flood, tropical, heat, winter, fire, and marine. Sort can follow urgency, severity, or soonest expiry. Search matches a title or an area. Each card names the event, the places it covers, when it expires, and the source.

PHP

The site and the API are PHP. The API pulls National Weather Service alerts, stores them, and serves the lists, filters, and saved locations.

MySQL

Alerts, accounts, and saved locations are stored in MySQL.

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

The pages use Bootstrap and a custom theme. JavaScript fills the alert lists and updates the sync time.
